24 Day Challenge -- Day 3!
Day 3 is just about over with! This morning's fiber drink really wasn't all that bad! I think it was the easiest day, and because it's the 3rd day, we have a break for 4 days from it! Thank goodness! After my fiber drink I had some fruit and then was off to the cross-fit gym for quite the intense workout! On my way there, I drank a spark and had 4 catalyst and it's a good thing I did! The warm up consisted of jumprope skills, I FINALLY am able to do double unders, but working on my high knees while jumping rope backwards was extremely difficult for me. I also got what is called the "boxers jump" down, so I was very happy! Then we did dowel moves for stretching and today's skill was lateral handstand wall walks and rope climb. Today, was a great day for me, I did all my wall walks and even got the formation down for climbing rope! Then our workout started, we did military press, push press, and then jerks. I upped my weight a lot and by the end my arms were like jello. After that we had our finisher which was 50 pull-ups and an 800 meter run. During pull-ups I use the band to help me and by the end I wasn't going high enough and fatigued so I finished my 10 on the rings. I was extremely frustrated by this, but it made me work harder and I ran my 800 in 3:35. Adrenaline and anger forced me to work harder, the run just plain sucked, my arms felt like jello, but I finished. For lunch I had a turkey sandwich and some fruit. This afternoon I trained two of my friends, we did a burpee broad jump for a warm up and a variety of crawls, followed by stretching. We then proceeded to run 1 minute walk 2 minutes for a total of 30 minutes. We ended the workout with some core work which consisted of 25 hollow rocks and 50 situps. I then brought my dad to my trainers house and a group of people did the same workout I did. I trained the group for the first half and then the running was different because of the different physical abilities. I am exhausted now! I ate a salad, raisins, and some fruit for dinner with my 5 omega plex. I will now take my herbal cleanse and head to bed! Definitely letting my body recover from a long day! Be great!
