24 Day Challenge--Day 1
The Advocare 24 day challenge is a great way to lose weight, gain energy, and feel awesome! In March of 2012 I did my first challenge, I ended up losing 12 pounds and inches from my waist! I felt truly amazing after I did it the first time! My friends at school all thought I was nuts and have noticed that I am losing a lot of weight and really toning my body up. So, my dad finally decided that he is going to do a challenge as well, so him and three of my friends started the challenge on June 11th. Day 1 went well, in the morning I drank my fiber drink followed by a glass of water and then 30 minutes after that was a spark energy drink. Mid-morning I had some raspberries and almonds and lunch time was a salad with sugar-free, raspberry vinaigrette dressing and some lean turkey. In the afternoon, I train two of my friends who are also doing the challenge. For their workout, they did a warm-up consisting of a 400m jog, 100 mountain climbers, and 50 hollow rocks. Then I went to the gym and did my cross-fit workout of the day which consisted of the following: warm-up: broad-jump burpees, flex was general mobility and skill of the day was handstand walking. The workout of the day was 21-15-9, Kettleball swings. Followed by handstand pushups. After that I took my omega plex which is fish oil with my dinner. Before bed, I took drank a rehydrate, took 3 catalyst, and my herbal cleanse pills. The day was successful to say the least! More to come tonight about how day two has gone!
